The Snapshot crew traveled way up north to Shawnee Peak in Maine where we got first tracks motorcade style. That’s right, we took a snowcat to the top of the mountain before the lifts even started turning resulting in fresh, untouched powder runs. It was like the whole mountain was ours – quiet and empty. Snowboarding in that environment during that time of day (though it’s only an hour or so earlier than the resort opens) is pretty surreal.
