It’s official. Hell has frozen over – people will have the chance to snowboard. In Jersey. In May. Thanks to Mountain Creek’s 22′ quarter pipe and a pretty mild spring, there’s still snow to be had.

Those of you that are still sliding spring slush out west might not appreciate such a gift. (Spoiled little brats.)

So! On Saturday, May 22nd, Mountain Creek will be hosting a hike park benefiting the VSMO (Vernon Skatepark Memorial Organization).

Expect to see a few jibs, music by DJ Pat Tyler, a BBQ and a bunch of winter-hungry teenagers shredding on Big Bear from 10am – 4pm. Mountain Creek’s Red Bull Skate Bowl will also be open in the South lodge.
