First of all, Northstar‘s village is crazy – Stratton-esque. The shuttle system is also pretty convenient. Oh, and A+ for the bathroom in the middle of the parking lot! Two cups of coffee and an hour drive later makes you appreciate those little luxuries. (And the fact that I didn’t need this… Ew. Gross.)

So we took the gondola to the base area from the village. It was surprising finding a relatively small mountain. I guess the village scene and grandiose shuttle system gave us different expectations.

The park at Northstar is very similar to Carinthia at Mount Snow and Mountain Creek‘s park setup. The whole area is serviced by a high speed quad – each trail branches off into different sized parks. I think we lapped Moonshine and Pinball most of the day. Good stuff.

First time…

- hitting a streetstyle box (Great success!)
- trying a c-box (…though it definitely wasn’t the first time my tailbone felt the repercussions of not doing something correctly.)
- sliding a rainbow box twice my size (Great success 2.0)
