So we went to Buttermilk on day 2. Despite some rogue jibs abandoned on the side of the trail, the parks were super fun. We rode through the Ski & Snowboard School Park off of the West Buttermilk Express a few times. It was a great place to try something new… which is probably why they designated the area for learning. Imagine that.
We sessioned Buttermilk Park for the majority of the day… but forgot to take pictures. Basically, we’re greedy and want to hit everything. God forbid we miss a pole jam to snap a photo of someone else. I finally remembered to take a photo toward the base – a jump used in the Winter X-Games.
Oh, and the tourist in me HAS to mention the incredible view overlooking Aspen Highlands. It’s about the only thing, other than my peanut butter sandwich, that distracted me from the 20-minute chairlift ride.
