So, my plan to avoid Black Friday was spoiled after a trip to Best Buy and a few snowboard shops. As a member of Mountain Creek’s dedicated marketing team, I saw a unique window of opportunity while shopping. This Special Blend mustache balaclava is awesome. I further embarrassed my boyfriend by wearing it around… and [...] Yeah, I try to get healthy for the season. A couple of lunges, vanilla oatmeal and stretching are a part of my “extensive” and “intense” preseason training. So I’m on track, lunging away like a champ, when Ben & Jerry interrupt. This video is out of control. Sure, it doesn’t hurt to have a mountain covered in powder to shoot, but everything about it is sick – skiing and snowboarding, RIDICULOUS back country riding, natural jibs, man-made jibs, powder slashes, cliff drops, some commentary, decent background track… Plus, it’s the perfect length. That in mind, I wanted to design a contest leveraging social media that would get all walks (or rides) of life involved. After a bit of brainstorming with Rob Megnin, Creek’s Sales & Marketing Director, we came up with the Quick Chek Quick Path [...] Finally! The time has come. I’ve placed an order for a new jacket, pants and über cute base layers. I don’t think I’ve ever waited this long to buy something new. Usually, I go ape shit on the end-of-season sales. |
