As a self-proclaimed gear whore, I’m always on the prowl for the next best thing, so my friend suggested I check out Nau. This company sets the precedent for other companies – makes clothing from organic, recycled, and/or original fabric, offers competitive wages, & provides desirable work environments.
That’s not all, kids. Nau donates at least 2% of the purchase price to pre-selected charities through their “Partner for Change” program and will also grant $10,000 to a selfless do-gooder through its first annual “Grant for Change” program. Hugs all around.
Nau’s gear has a similar vibe to Holden – earth tones, slim cuts, street-wear inspired. I dig it. Their Fall ’09 lineup drops mid-August, but there’s still plenty of ’08 steeze leftover and it’s on-sale. My favorite from ’08 collection is the Urbane Jacket. Bargain hunters, rejoice. Expect to see Nau’s 2010 technical/winter gear launch mid-September.
