The deciding game is only a few hours away. I wonder what is going through the athletes’ minds. It’s such an awesome rivalry – one team has the opportunity to remain champions and celebrate that accomplishment on home ice. The other team could cause a major upset and compensate for last season’s shortcomings. Like I said before, I have nothing invested in either team – I’m just a fan of competition… and this is competition in its purest state. You just have to appreciate it.
